Wool and winter, they belong together, like old friends reunited under a dark starry sky. Here in the forest, as the first true whisper of winter settles around us, the world has transformed overnight. Yesterday morning, snowflakes drifted lazily through the trees; today, they lie thick and soft, as though nature herself has wrapped the earth in a white, woolโlike blanket.
There is something timeless about wool: not just in its warmth, but in its story.
In this season, we long for woolen coats, soft scarves, and warm gloves , the kind our grandmothers used to make with their gentle hands. There is something timeless about wool: not just in its warmth, but in its story.
Did you know that wool can be naturally cleansed by snow and cold? Thatโs why I bring out all my handmade woolen plaids and garments and leave them to breathe in the crisp winter air. The cold filters out dirt and even unwelcome little bugs, preserving the fibers in their purest state. Inside every piece I make, youโll find a label with carefully thought-out instructions , how to care for your precious garment in a way that honors nature and doesnโt burden the environment, while also helping your wool to endure without wearing out too soon.

Whenever I look at these garments. the ones Iโve made, worn, and cherished, Iโm quietly amazed. They do not show signs of wear. Instead, they seem to gather strength with each season, as though imbued with the resilience of the cold itself.
Join Me by the Fireside
This winter, I invite you to come together in that same spirit of care and craftsmanship. Iโm hosting a midwinter glove-making workshop by the fireplace, a cozy gathering where weโll sit close to the firelight, handcraft woolen gloves, learn traditional techniques, and share stories and a cup of something warm with traditional swedish fika.
Come wrap your hands in wool, and let us craft something both practical and magical.
