Reconnect with your wild, creative self in the heart of the forest.

Inspired by the wisdom of women in mythology—Fates spinning life threads, the untamed wild woman within us—this weekend is a journey into creativity, nature, and self-expression. Wool, soft, wild, and endlessly versatile, will guide you as you slow down, get meditative, and create something uniquely yours.

What You Will Learn

Over the course of three days, you will:

• Naturally dye silk using plants, mushrooms, and lichen from the surrounding forest. You’ll learn the art of botanical dyeing and how to create stunning colors straight from nature.

• Botanically print and bundle-dye on silk, using leaves, flowers, and other natural elements to imprint their beauty onto fabric.

• Master nuno felting techniques, creating beautiful felted textures and fabrics that blend wool with silk.

• Design and create your own garment from scratch, using the skills learned in the workshop to produce something personal and expressive.

• Learn how to make your piece durable—turning it into a lasting creation that will be part of your wardrobe for years.

What You Will Take Home

By the end of the weekend, you will:

• Complete your own unique creation—whether it’s a scarf, top, handbag or other piece of art—that reflects your personality and creative spirit.

• Have gained practical skills in natural dyeing, botanical printing, and nuno felting, which you can continue to explore and apply at home.

• Feel empowered and inspired, having connected with other women, spent time in nature, and created something beautiful and meaningful.

Friday, June 26 – 9:00–16:00

• Introduction to plant-based and botanical bundle-dyeing on silk

• Learn nuno felting techniques and experiment with blending wool and silk

• Begin designing your creation

Saturday, June 27 – 9:00–16:00

• Work on the design and layout of your creation

• Continue exploring nuno felting techniques and create the base of your piece

Sunday, June 28 – 9:00–16:00

• Finish your work, focusing on durability and creating a long-lasting piece

• Final touches and reflection on the work done

Throughout the weekend, there will be time to relax by the fire, share stories, and reflect on your creative journey in nature.

Accommodation & Meals

The retreat will take place in a hundred year old barn at our farm,  nestled in the heart of the forest, providing the perfect atmosphere for immersion in nature and creativity.

• Accommodation options:

  • Tent camping on the retreat grounds, where you’ll be surrounded by the forest for a fully immersive outdoor experience.

  • Caravan parking: If you prefer privacy, you’re welcome to bring your own caravan and park on the grounds.

• Meals & Fika:

  • Lunch & Diner will be provided each day, nourishing and made with local, organic ingredients to keep you energized and inspired.

  • Fika (Swedish coffee break) will be available throughout the day, with homemade cakes and snacks.

For those who prefer more privacy, there are local rental cabins just 3 km away, located in a nearby nature reserve.

• Price: 3300 SEK (includes three full days, all meals, fika, and tent spot)

• EARLY BIRD PRICE: 3000 sek if you register before the 1th of April.

• Materials: A full materials list will be provided beforehand. It will also be possible to purchase materials during the workshop for a good price.

• Cancellation: Last cancellation date: June 1. Later cancellations refunded only if your place can be filled from the waiting list. Full refund if the course is canceled by us.

Our Forest Farm

We purchased the farm in 2018, enchanted by its beauty and an ancient oak beside the main house. Our land is being carefully restored, following permaculture principles, and we use everything we have in harmony with nature. We are committed to sustainable living and believe that caring for the earth is the highest form of art.
